I was trained under the auspice of Dyslexia Africa in 2005 because of my son's disability.

"I got into the Davis™ Dyslexia Correction Programme after I recognised my son's learning difficulties in Standard Two. I would struggle to improve his reading, spelling skills while also trying  to make him understand the meaning of words."

Aasav was not doing well in school and the teachers thought he had a learning disability. Later on, I was advised to seek an assessment test to find out the extent of his difficulties.

The findings established that he was a visual dyslexic - it means a picture thinker  who only comprehends words he can relate to images unlike those without an illustration. I researched and found in the internet the book The Gift Of Dyslexia. It intrigued me to read it. It explained all the problems very positively about Dyslexia. Thereafter I found myself trained for the program. I got my license in 2007 and since then I have successfully helped many adults and children. Professional services described as Davis™, Davis Dyslexia Correction®, Davis Symbol Mastery®, Davis Orientation Counseling®, and Davis Math Mastery® may only be provided by persons who are employed by a licensed Davis Specialist, or who are trained and licensed as Davis Facilitators by Davis Dyslexia Association International.
